Walmart’s “Simple Steps” Campaign Offers Good Advice

by Mike on February 15, 2010

Assuming you live in the States, did you get the same 12-page advertisement from Walmart that I did over the weekend?  It was in our newspaper on Saturday.  While I have mixed feelings about the Arkansas-based mega-store, I found some really good stuff in their ad.  So, I thought I’d share it with you:

  1. Eat fresh fruit every day.
  2. Choose yogurt instead of ice cream
  3. Have a healthier fast food meal (choose Healthy Choice or similar microwave meal over a trip to McDonald’s or Taco Bell, etc.)
  4. Eat more veggies.
  5. Start your day with a healthy breakfast.
  6. Begin your grocery list with fruits and vegetables.
  7. Enjoy convenient options without sacrificing nutrition and flavor.
  8. Start moving – the more you move, the better you’ll feel.

P.S.  I am not affiliated with Walmart.  Just passing along some good information to you.  :-)
